328. If the karmic material, responsible for wrong belief (by its own potency) makes the Self a wrong believer, then does not your non-intelligent prakriti assumes the role of an intelligent doer?

329. If, on the other hand, the soul causes wrong belief in matter then it is matter that becomes a non-believer and not the soul.

330. Again if soul and (inanimate) prakriti together create wrong belief out of karmic materials, then they both must enjoy the fruit of their actions.

331. Further neither karmic prakriti nor jiva is able to produce wrong belief out of karmic matter. Therefore it is not karmic materials that become wrong-belief. Such a view is entirely erroneous.
