ROASTED CHEVEDA


 

INGREDIENTS:

500 grams nylon parched rice,      100 grams groundnut,

100 grams chutney dalia,      50 grams dry coconut,

50 grams raisins,      50 cashew-nut,

25 grams almond, curry leaves      2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

2-tsp. turmeric powder,      2-tsp. chilly powder,

1/2-tsp. citric acid,      5-6 tsp. sugar, salt ,

 2-tsp. fennel seeds,      1 tbsp. garam masala,

5-6 tbsp. oil.

 

PREPARATION:

Take oil in a pot. Add fennel seeds and cumin seeds. After 2 minutes put green chilies and curry leaves and stir for 2 minutes. Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix finely cut coconut and stir and mix groundnut and chutney dalia, stir for 5 minutes.

 

Then add cashew-nut pieces, almond and stir. Mix raisins and parched rice and stir on a slow heat till crispy. Mix garam masala, chilly powder, critic acid and sugar and stir well and fill in a container.
