DALMUTH


 

INGREDIENTS:

250 grams red lentils (masur)      400 grams sev,

100 grams magajtari seeds      100 grams cashew-nut pieces,

oil for frying      1 tbsp. ghee ,

1 tbsp. pepper powder      1/2-tsp. black salt powder,

salt            1 tbsp. white chilly powder.

 

preparation:

Soak red lentils in water for 10-12 hours. Tie them in cloth for another 8-10 hours. Then spread them on a cloth for 1/2 hour.

 

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry red lentils and when they come up remove. Fry all the red lentils. Cool it and mix sev.

 

In another pot take ghee and melt and roast cashew-nut and remove. Roast magajtari seeds and remove. Mix them with red lentils and sev. Add salt, pepper powder, chilly powder and black salt powder. Mix well and fill in the container.
