NIRAV LEARNS ABOUT SHARING

NIRAV: Boy! My mom packed me the best lunch. Lunch is my favorite part of school. I looked into my sack and what did I see? I saw a slice of strawberry pie, and a sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and dill pickles. Yum, yum, yum. I also have a bag of chips and a can of coke. Look out stomach, here it comes.

NUTAN: Hello. Nirav, Can I sit at your table and eat with you?

NIRAV: Sure. What kind of munchies did your mom put in your lunch? I am so hungry that I could eat everybody's lunch sacks. You don't look too hungry. Aren't you starved?

NUTAN: I guess so. My mom just fixes me the same thing every day. I am tired of it, too.

NIRAV: Did you get a pie with all of that good filling?

NUTAN: No, I'm not that lucky.

NIRAV: All of this will soon be in my tummy. I can't wait to eat. Did you get any fruit?

NUTAN: No, but I got some crackers covered with peanut butter.

NIRAV: What else did you get?

NUTAN: That's all.

NIRAV: You eat only crackers? Won't you be still hungry after you are finished?

NUTAN: We don't have enough money to buy extra things. My dad isn't working full time. So this is all I get. Now let's chow down.

NIRAV: Your peanut butter and crackers sure do sound good to me.

NUTAN: Do you want one? I can share, my mother won't mind.

NIRAV: Would you like to trade lunches. Yours sounds great. And I don't think I will be able to eat all of mine.

NUTAN: If you have just lost your appetite, then I have found it. I am going to have a great lunch. Thanks for sharing with me.

NIRAV: No problem, after all that's what friends are for!

(Both eat happily)
