morning promise pray

Every morning when I pray,

I make a promise each and every day!

I will follow the path of goodness

I will follow the teachings of the Tirthankaras

It will make me a good child,

It will bring good thoughts to my mind,

That promise I make every single day!

All that I do will be for the better!

All that I say will be sweeter,

I will have no mean thoughts,

I will do no mean actions,

I will say no mean words!

Every morning when I pray

I promise to be a better person everyday!
